Can a centrifuge continuously separate the liquid and solid phases?

Looking at the process flow, the feed to the centrifuge is a liquid-solid mixture; it can be seen that there is only one flow of liquid coming from the centrifuge’s outlet, but the direction of the solids is not indicated. Given that the material is fed and discharged continuously, there is a question: how does the solid phase exit the centrifuge?
I’m not sure about the properties of your material. If it’s continuous, the solid phase will come out through the discharge port, while the liquid phase will be discharged separately through the liquid outlet. You can get in touch with me to discuss this further

A crawler-type vacuum filter can perform continuous solid-liquid separation! The centrifuge won’t work; intermittent operation is required!
Horizontal screw centrifuges, vacuum filter presses, drum filter presses… these are continuous, but ordinary centrifugal filters should be intermittent.
