The material requirements specify that the winding gaskets must comply with NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156. Could someone please explain in detail what exactly these requirements entail? Is it necessary to conduct some experiments?

It is necessary; the materials for the inner ring and the winding ring should be stainless steel. As long as it is manufactured in accordance with NACE standards, no additional SSC or HIC tests are required
If materials such as 316 or 316L are used for the inner ring that comes into contact with the medium, it is sufficient to specify during procurement that they meet NACE requirements for resistance to H2S. Afterwards, their hardness, elemental composition, and manufacturing process will be checked against NACE requirements, and then there will be no issues
