Is this installation method for check valves correct?

Is it okay to connect the check valve directly to the valve? Personally, I think these two should be connected by a pipe. Seek guidance from experts
A directly connected stop valve will not affect the operation of the check valve. In water pipelines, it is common to see two valves connected directly to each other
It’s best to check the accompanying instructions for the one-way valve, just in case there are any special requirements.
There should be no problems with daily operations; the concern is that if one of the valves fails and needs to be repaired, it might not be easy to access it
