Fasteners and gaskets are no longer listed in the third announcement; do manufacturers of fasteners and gaskets still need to obtain a manufacturing license for pressure pipeline components? I would appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!
Fasteners and gaskets belong to the flange system!
A manufacturing license for pressure pipeline components is no longer required for producing fasteners, but one is still necessary for producing gaskets. For more details, please refer to Document No. QAIBAN Te (2015) 675 issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on June 24, 2015, section (III) regarding manufacturing licenses for pressure pipeline components.
The special equipment catalog updated in 2014 also removed fasteners and pipe supports from it, so fasteners presumably no longer require a manufacturing license. Thank you!
