Common units of pressure are as follows: Pa (Pascal), KPa (kiloPascal), MPa (megaPascal), Bar (bar), mbar (millibar), mmH2O (millimeters of water column), KG (kilogram). Conversion formulas: 1 KPa = 1000 Pa; 1 MPa = 1000 KPa = 1,000,000 Pa; 1 Bar = 0.1 MPa = 100 KPa; 1 Bar = 1000 mbar; 1 meter of water column = 0.01 MPa = 10 KPa; 1 KG = 0.1 MPa = 100 KPa
“1 meter of water column = 0.01 MPa = 10 KPa; precise calculations are not feasible, so it can only be used for estimation
