Does anyone know what kind of equipment such a five-valve assembly is used in? What is its specific use, and what is the principle behind it?
I have seen differential pressure level gauges and the three-valve assemblies used in flow meters; I haven’t seen five-valve assemblies, so this question should be asked in the instruments section.
Simply put, it is a five-valve assembly used for connecting pressure differential meters or sensors. The five valves are: high-pressure side isolation, high-pressure side relief, high/low pressure bypass, low-pressure side isolation, and low-pressure side relief. The five-valve assembly combines these five valves together, which is quite convenient and practical
The instrument section is used to connect various transmitters. I work for American companies like Parker and Swagelok; haha, just doing some advertising here. Feel free to ask for quotes. What domestic brand is this? I’ve never heard of it. These items aren’t expensive these days either; choose some of the better quality ones. Swagelok is basically the best brand available these days, but it’s expensive because it doesn’t have factories in China – it only has a stock location in Shanghai. The delivery time is long; if there’s no stock in Shanghai, it will take at least 8 weeks or more. Parker has set up a factory in Changzhou; the valve bodies are manufactured by processing steel imported from abroad, and the valve cores are also imported from overseas before being assembled in Changzhou. The price is roughly 1/3 of that of Swagelok’s products. They currently have a large inventory of valve assemblies, and the lead time for ordinary valves is about one month. The best product available in the domestic market right now is Fitok; it’s slightly cheaper than Parker. It performs well in applications involving medium pressure and temperature levels, and the lead time for delivery is short. Sometimes it’s also possible to manufacture custom parts according to customer requirements. However, in applications that involve high pressure and temperature, it still can’t compete with other products. Overall, manufacturers with plenty of money and certain key positions still tend to use Swagelok more often
For differential pressure transmitters: 5 valves, 1 shut-off valve on the high-pressure side, 1 balance valve, 1 valve on the low-pressure side, 2 drain valves
So it’s an expert, then. This was asked by one of my clients; I’m not an expert on such small valves. I was wondering, how much does this imported five-valve assembly cost approximately, made of 304 material?
