The ball valve is a fixed ball. After the fork cylinder is installed, there is an abnormal sound immediately after the inflation is fully opened (it is not a problem with the valve). After adjusting the switch adjustment screw, the fork cylinder is not installed again before the valve is opened. There is no abnormal sound when the ventilation is opened. Newly manufactured ball valves are usually closed, and there is gas under a certain pressure inside. When the valve is opened, this phenomenon will occur. Indicates that the valve does not leak. This phenomenon occurs when the valve is inspected when it leaves the factory and the valve is closed under pressure.
This sound is the sound of the piston in the cylinder hitting the cylinder. There is no shock absorbing gasket in the cylinder. The reason is that when the cylinder is not installed on the valve, it is no-load, so there is no sound. When it is installed on the valve, the torque increases. If there is pressure in the valve, the torque will be greater and the sound will be louder.
The actuator shown in the picture is mechanically limited by the limit bolt in the middle body. Whether it is unloaded or equipped with a valve, the shift fork in the middle body will hit the mechanical limit at the starting point and end point. This sound is normal. If it is a quick-opening type, the sound will be louder, but there will be a buffer mechanism accordingly, so there is no need to worry. If there is abnormal sound in the cylinder barrel or spring chamber, parts may be damaged or debris may have been introduced, and the source of the sound needs to be accurately determined.
