Can plumbing fixtures be used on process pipelines?

I encountered this situation recently: it involved a pipeline carrying flammable media, with very low pressure in the pipeline itself, but the medium was still flammable. Generally, the design standards for pipe fittings are GB12459 or GB14383; however, the galvanized threaded pipe fittings commonly used by plumbing contractors on site seem inappropriate to me, though I haven’t found any evidence to support this opinion. What are everyone’s thoughts?

I’m the one who designed it; I haven’t used this before. I went through many specifications last night; it seems that cast iron parts can also be used in situations with relatively simple operating conditions

No, it’s for gas station projects; construction companies use atmospheric pressure vapor pipelines for this purpose, and they’re unsure whether it’s feasible to use them
Don’t the design drawings include a material list? ? ?
