I would appreciate some advice from experts: on the actuator of a pneumatic cut-off ball valve, there are areas at each end cap, as well as in the middle section, where nuts are used for tightening. What is the purpose of those nuts? So, aren’t they present on some cylinders? Also, is there anything that can be adjusted on the cylinder if the valve doesn’t close properly?
To stop the movement of the cylinder piston, it is necessary to ensure that it closes properly while also preventing the valve from closing too tightly; this feature is present in disc valves and ball valves, but not in gate valves. If there is no upper limit on the cylinder, there must be components that provide a limit in some other area.
It is the limit bolt for the actuator. Typically, the operating range of an actuator is 0-90 degrees, but in certain special situations where specific angles such as 30 degrees or 60 degrees are required, this kind of limit bolt is needed
