Is a thread connection reliable at a pipeline test pressure of 70 MPa?

For a pipe of 76*18, the connector for the pressure testing pump hose is M20*1.5, while the piping pressure connection port is NPT1/2". A conversion fitting is used in between. Is this threaded connection suitable?
A pressure gauge and its connectors are nothing but threaded connections, right?
It’s possible, but welding should be done more carefully; after all, it’s a pipe with a pressure rating of 70 MPa and a diameter of DN40. Smaller pipes such as DN25 or DN20 can withstand higher pressures
