The pressure-temperature rating of a valve is the maximum allowable operating pressure, expressed in gauge pressure, at a specified temperature. As the temperature rises, the maximum allowable operating pressure decreases accordingly. Pressure-temperature ratings are the main basis for properly selecting flanges, valves, and pipe fittings under different operating temperatures and pressures; they are also fundamental parameters in engineering design and manufacturing. 1) American standards: Steel valves in accordance with the relevant provisions of ANSI B16.34 ； Cast iron valves in accordance with the relevant provisions of ANSI B16.4 ； Copper cast valves in accordance with ANSI B16.24 ； Ductile iron is in accordance with ANSI B16.24. 2) European standards: the valves comply with the relevant provisions and calculation methods specified in EN12516-1, -2, -3. 3) International standards: Valves shall comply with the relevant provisions of ISO7005-1. 4) Chinese standards: Valves are subject to the relevant provisions of GB/T12224, as well as those of NB/T47044.
