Hello, everyone in this forum. Regarding the loading lines for tank trucks, flame arrestors need to be installed on the VOC recovery pipelines at the loading platforms. There are three types of flame arrestors: those designed to prevent deflagration, those designed to handle steady-state detonation, and those designed to handle unsteady-state detonation. So, which type of flame arrester should be installed in the VOC recovery pipeline? If a detonation-type flame arrester is to be installed, should a steady-state or unsteady-state version be chosen? What is the basis for the selection?
