How to turn a single-threaded short fitting on small-diameter pipes

1. I have been unable to find the specifications for single-threaded short sections; I have reviewed GB/T 14383, GB/T 12716, as well as pipeline equipment manuals； 2. For DN20 pipes with a small outer diameter, the outer diameter of such pipes is 25 mm, while the major diameter of the NPT thread as specified in GB/T 12716 is 26.568 mm ； 3. If it is the on-site construction team that handles the threading, should pipes with a different outer diameter be used? ； 4. The minimum wall thickness specified in the pipeline fittings manual is SCH80; cannot SCH40 be used?

Pipe walls with thickness SCH40 for machining threads are not suitable.
