That guy knows: which one has better performance, 17-4PH or 304L? Higher corrosion resistance? Is material S 20910 a duplex stainless steel? Is it a type of stainless steel with better corrosion resistance than 316L?
Properties of S20910 austenitic stainless steel: 1. Its corrosion resistance is superior to that of 316L and 317L stainless steels; it can be exposed to the marine atmosphere for extended periods. In calm seawater environments, its corrosion resistance is slightly better than that of the Monel 400 alloy. 2. Twice the tensile strength of 304 and 316 stainless steels. 3. It is susceptible to stress corrosion cracking in hot chloride environments, with a crack resistance performance between that of 304 and 316. 4. Maintains excellent mechanical properties at high temperatures of 629°C. 5. Good mechanical properties at low temperatures, and extremely low magnetic permeability.

Answer: S20910 (XM-19, Nitronic 50) is not a duplex stainless steel; its mechanical properties are superior to those of 316L, while its corrosion resistance is not very different from that of 316L (the corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steels mainly depends on the levels of carbon, nickel, chromium, and molybdenum).
