A check valve is installed at the outlet of the pump, while a filter is generally installed at the inlet. The purpose is to prevent backflow and reverse rotation of the pump, as well as to facilitate maintenance.
We usually install it in front of the outlet valve, as this facilitates the maintenance of pumps; it also makes it easier to carry out repairs in case the check valve is damaged.
