Recently, the disclosure of information related to Hubei HuiNeng Chemical Co., Ltd.’s green and low-carbon integrated coal-phosphorus-potassium-fluorine project has drawn significant attention from the chemical equipment industry. This project was developed by HuiNeng Holding Group. Public information shows that HuiNeng Holding Group was established in 2001 and has over 70 subsidiaries. The group has been active in industries such as coal, power, chemicals, new energy, and new materials for a long time. It currently possesses: 100 million tons of coal resources, 60 million tons of iron ore, 3 million tons of potash fertilizer, 1.53 million kilowatts of power generation capacity, 1.6 billion cubic meters of coal-based gas production capacity, and 1 million tons of LNG production capacity. Meanwhile, the company is also working on projects such as 2.6 million tons per year of new materials production, 1.67 million kilowatts of thermal power generation, 1.1 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation, and 70,000 tons of aluminum-silicon alloy production. The green and low-carbon integrated coal-phosphorus-potash-fluorine project being developed in Xiangyang, Hubei, indicates that a new round of large-scale modern coal chemical, phosphorus chemical, and fluorine chemical integration projects in China is advancing at an accelerated pace. For China’s valve industry, such ultra-large-scale chemical integration projects often entail a valve procurement market worth hundreds of millions of yuan. With a total investment of 43 billion yuan, the integrated development of coal chemical, phosphorus chemical, and fluorine chemical industries is underway. The project is located on Yanbei Road in the Fine Chemicals Industrial Park in Xiangyang City (Yicheng), Hubei Province. The entire project adopts a technical approach based on the combination of coal and phosphorus, as well as the synergy between potassium and fluorine. The scope of construction is extremely extensive and includes the following core production capacities: 2.6 million tons per year of compound fertilizers, as well as 1.8 million tons per year of synthetic ammonia, 2 million tons per year of urea, and 1 million tons per year of methanol. It also encompasses supporting facilities for the downstream coal chemical industry chain, comprehensive utilization of industrial solid waste (gasification slag), as well as a self-supplied power plant and an energy recycling system. The project is planned to be built in two phases. The construction scope for one phase includes: a project for producing 1 million tons per year of high-value composite amino materials; 3 × 850 t/h ultra-high pressure circulating fluidized bed boilers (2 in operation and 1 as backup); 2 × 175 MW extraction-type steam turbine generators; a project for producing 1.3 million tons per year of phosphorus-based new materials and compound fertilizers; auxiliary facilities; and environmental protection systems. The total investment for this project is approximately 43 billion yuan. Upon full completion and operation, the annual industrial output value is expected to be around 35 billion yuan, with profits and taxes estimated to exceed 2 billion yuan. The project will create approximately 3,200 jobs. According to relevant announcements from Xiangyang City, construction is scheduled to begin in December 2026, and preliminary tasks such as environmental impact assessments, safety evaluations, and energy assessments have already been initiated. https://wx.qlogo.cn/mmopen/jaaFM8to0uhzAGUw447RtJkTI51bUzpTxKsRF7UsIfeJspBickOWntsq4wLXiaOQu6zzmgUSFr9dKC52ibGTSd1quRITpZogO6a/96 Copy, Forward, Highlight, Recommend, Write a Comment, Search.
