There’s no need to refer to this; as long as you don’t mind the waste caused by vaporization and evaporation, no one will stop you from not using insulation. However, it should be noted that when using vacuum pipes, special care must be taken: if the inner tube leaks, it can lead to an explosion due to the vaporization of liquid that enters the interlayer. It is said that there are such cases, (it is said; P). So I use the “foam” type, and then cover it with paint applied using galvanized sheet metal or glass cloth. For reference.

It’s not necessary. In the past, DN40 pipelines for liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen were designed to run from the liquid storage area across the road to the filling area, over a distance of about 70 meters; vacuum pipelines were not used instead insulated pipelines were employed, and a small amount of vaporization was considered acceptable；
