Hello, Sea Friends! My project is a petrochemical project, and certain process pipelines in the plant – such as circulation gas pipelines and oxygen pipelines – require 100% oil and grease removal or chemical cleaning according to the design specifications. All installation work in the facility, except for the civil foundation construction, is carried out by Company A, the general contractor. However, the tasks of degreasing and chemical cleaning for all process pipelines are carried out by Company B, a company with professional qualifications for chemical cleaning, which has been engaged by the owner. Company B and the general contractor A can be said to be in a parallel relationship. Our company is a supervision firm responsible for overseeing and inspecting all construction activities within the facility. Company B is now submitting an application for inspection regarding the chemical cleaning process that has been completed on some of the pipelines. Is it necessary for Company B to submit a separate application for inspection of the chemical cleaning process? Should the cleaning acceptance record form use SH3503 or SH3543? Do the cleaning records need to be attached to the pressure testing package documents prepared by Company A? Please answer, thank you!
