Who knows what these symbols mean in the formula for design pressure, P=2σt/(D-2tY)?
To figure out what pressure is required, just look up the relevant standards – the information should be there
No corresponding standard available for the pipeline design pressure.
σ is stress, t is wall thickness, D is diameter, Y is unclear
Y is the calculation coefficient. Is there such a formula?
It wasn’t found through the standards; it’s not clear whether such a formula exists
