Regarding pneumatic three-way valves

On process pipelines, three-way pneumatic valves are used to switch between two flow directions. However, in one of these flow directions, the medium flows in a straight line rather than at a 90-degree angle. Is such a valve considered a T-type valve? I’m not sure how common these valves are As for whether it belongs to a commonly used valve type, I consulted the manufacturer earlier, and they said that domestic valves of this type are rare, while imported valves are more common. Also, since it is still used for switching between two flow directions, the configuration of cylinders and solenoid valves – is the control mechanism the same as that of an L-shaped valve?
