I have just started working in pipeline design and need to use PDMS software. It seems that this software has many different modules, such as a database, a design module, a drawing generation module, etc., and it is quite complex. I’m not sure how to learn it systematically. I would appreciate any advice from those who are more experienced, as well as guidance on where to find relevant training materials or reference books. I’ve just started in this field and would like to ask: what are the prospects for career development in this specialty, and what certificates can be obtained? I appreciate any advice!
You just need to refine your own module. I’m currently using this software to coordinate construction on site.
Databases aren’t something you can handle on your own; as mentioned above, you just need to figure out your own part
That makes sense; there are too many modules to take care of all at once. For now, the focus should be on designing the modules. As for pipeline design, it should be carried out in 3D while also taking into account the on-site instructions
Okay, first finish the part that I’m responsible for
Is there no literature available for reference? It’s hard for beginners to get started, ah
Bilibili has introductory videos on PDMS that you can search for
I’m about to start learning this software in order to switch to a career in piping work
