Dear sea friends, on the PID diagram, a 1-inch pipe has been specified for the outlet pipeline of the safety valve. What is its purpose? As shown in the figure below
When the safety valve needs to be removed, drain the medium in the pipe between the outlet and the first shut-off valve. Prevent safety accidents caused by removal under pressure.
Isn’t this a stop valve? ? ? If it’s a safety valve, an inlet of 2 inches and an outlet of 1 inch is quite normal. Moreover, the outlet of a safety valve needs to be extended outward, and there are requirements regarding its height and direction to prevent injury to people
This valve can be used for pressure relief, sample analysis, or temporarily for other purposes,,,,. Don’t rush to focus on these things that are unrelated to the main process; once you understand the principles of the overall process, its function will become clear naturally.
