Yours is an axial corrugated compensator. It has not been installed yet, so you can't tell whether it is caused by internal pressure or external pressure. This kind of compensator is the simplest. Just buy and set it according to the length and compensation amount, and leave some margin.
I would like to ask, how much margin is usually left? For example, the calculated expansion of the pipe is 150mm. How much expansion should be specified in the expansion joint data sheet for verification? 1.2 times? Just add 50mm?

The expansion joint is placed close to the fixed bracket. The compensation amount of the expansion joint should be "the calculated thermal elongation of the pipe + the design allowance". For a 10%~15% margin, such as 100mm compensation, only use 90mm or 85mm.
