Additionally, the product specifications for motors or instruments should also include information regarding the corresponding explosion protection rating. .
For substances that can be found in the list of material properties in Appendix B of GB/T3836.11-2017, it is possible to determine their grouping; however, what should be done for substances that are not listed there?
If the substance you wish to determine is not listed in the substance property table of Appendix B of GB/T 383611-2017, you can refer to the IEC 60079-10 standard. This standard provides a method for determining the hazard level of gas mixtures, which can be assessed based on their explosive limit concentrations and minimum ignition energy.
