For 2\" pipes with a thickness of 14 mm, American standard specifications are required; the highest wall thickness grade available under this standard, XXS, is only 11 mm. Is there a thicker grade available in the American standard? Additionally, for the welded unions specified in API 6A, the wall thickness is SCH XXH. Which standard defines this wall thickness grade, and what is the corresponding wall thickness in millimeters?
For US standards, only the commonly used materials are listed; for those that require customization, contact the supplier.
This can be customized, but yours is too thick. It is recommended that you use a material with high tensile strength; it’s difficult to weld something that thick.
