The main difference between fixed-ball and floating-ball valves lies in the sealing mechanism: in a fixed-ball valve, the ball does not move, and sealing is achieved through the compression between the valve seat and the ball； In a floating ball valve, the ball can move in response to changes in the pressure of the medium, and sealing is achieved by the pressure of the medium pushing the ball against the valve seat. The choice depends mainly on the working conditions: when there is high pressure or a two-way seal is required, a fixed ball valve is generally selected, as it has strong structural adaptability ； If the operating pressure is low, a floating ball valve can be chosen due to its simple structure and relatively low cost. .
