Pipeline measurement methods in chemical plants

I went to the site to measure the pipes; the elevations of the pipelines are not consistent and they’re not level either – the pipelines are too high. I’d like to know how everyone measures this
What specifically do you want to measure about the pipeline – the installation quality or something else?
Measure the length and angle of the pipes at the site
It seems like you are working on the design and construction of renovation projects. I think it doesn’t need to be extremely accurate. In the past, when we measured pipes that were out of reach, we used laser rangefinders, but those only provided approximate measurements – no precise values. Moreover, when creating the delivery list, it’s possible to include some extra margin. It mainly depends on the on-site installers to make the modifications.
