This is because the codes for pressure pipelines should apply to pipelines that fall under the category of special equipment; as for other industrial metal pipelines, there are already standards within the national standard system such as GB 50316 \"Code for Design of Industrial Metal Pipelines\", GB 50235 \"Code for Construction of Industrial Metal Pipelines\", and GB 50184 \"Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Industrial Metal Pipelines\" to regulate them, so there is no need to expand the scope or implement duplicate management. GC1, GC2, and GC3 should also be classified within the pipelines of special equipment. This way, there will be no confusion.
The concept behind formulating pressure pipeline codes comes from ASME B31.3, and since the United States does not have a government agency responsible for regulating special equipment, this creates a contradiction that is difficult to resolve.
