A hydrogen shut-off valve is a safety device designed to prevent damage to the hydrogen hose or other components when abnormal external forces act on it. The rupture valve is equipped with an inlet port and an outlet port, which are connected to the inlet and outlet ends of the hydrogenation hose, respectively. When the axial force acting on the hydrogenation hose reaches the preset value, the rupture shaft of the valve together with the valve body itself will disconnect automatically, thereby sealing both ends and preventing hydrogen leakage, thus protecting the safety of the hydrogenation station and the people inside it.
The shut-off valve should be reliably installed in the pipeline. In normal operating condition, the pull-off shaft presses against the check valve, keeping the internal passages connected, allowing the gas medium to flow smoothly. During the hydrogen filling process, gas enters through the inlet connector of the shut-off valve, then passes through the inner hole of the shut-off shaft to reach the hydrogen filling hose; the accurate connection between the hydrogen filling gun and the vehicle enables hydrogen to be filled into the vehicle. When the breakaway valve is subjected to an abnormal pulling force in any direction from the outside (F>220N), the breakaway shaft (1) is pulled out of the main body, which in turn causes the return gas breakaway valve connector (2) to separate as well; the entire breakaway valve is thus divided into two parts. The one-way valve located on the inner surface of the breakaway valve main body moves rapidly due to the action of springs and the pressure of the gas in the pipeline, thereby achieving a sealing effect ; At the same time, the check valve inside the break shaft (2) is also acted upon by the spring and the gas pressure in the pipeline, moving rapidly to close the internal pipeline of the break shaft, thereby shutting off the medium flow path and preventing gas leakage as well as ensuring the safety of the entire system.
