Gaskets are used in conjunction with flanges; for large-diameter steel pipe flanges, there are A and B types, and therefore the choice of gaskets also varies between A and B. There is a significant difference in size between Series A flanges and Series B flanges. The main parameters are: outer diameter, center distance between screw holes, screw hole diameter, number of screw holes, flange height, and sealing surface; these key parameters vary. For example: for the DN650 A series, the sealing surface diameter is φ749, while for the B series it is φ711. Gaskets must also be selected according to the dimensions of the sealing surface.
