On June 18, the Plateau Oil and Gas Pipeline Technology Innovation Center was inaugurated in Lhasa, Tibet. The High-Pressure Oil and Gas Pipeline Technology Innovation Center will carry out research in various areas, including construction technologies for high-pressure oil and gas pipelines, operation and maintenance techniques, safety and environmental protection technologies, intelligent technologies, as well as technologies for integrating new energy sources with oil and gas pipelines, focusing on tasks such as the construction of energy pipeline projects, environmental protection, disaster prevention, equipment development, and operation management. At the same time, by establishing a comprehensive service system that covers big data intelligence support, engineering consulting, design, construction, inspection and testing, as well as operation, the center will provide thorough technical support and solutions for high-pressure oil and gas pipeline projects, thereby accelerating the transformation and application of research results.
