On July 30, CNPC Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company reported that in order to ensure the safe and stable supply of gas for the torch ceremony during the 12th World Games in 2025, the company overcame various challenges and successfully completed the construction of the gas supply pipeline for the torch at Qinhuang Lake. This demonstrated its professional capability to carry out key projects in complex environments, providing a solid foundation for the successful holding of the World Games in Chengdu. Faced with challenges such as complex construction conditions in the subway protection zones and strict requirements for safety distances in the construction of torch gas supply pipelines, the company dispatched professionals to conduct on-site inspections, thoroughly mapping out the distribution of related auxiliary facilities and underground pipelines along Lines 1, 6, and 18 of the subway. Through more than 30 on-site meetings, the design team was coordinated to refine the plans 10 times, ultimately determining the optimal construction approach that allows for the precise installation of pipelines while ensuring compliance with safety distance requirements. Adhering to the principle of \"safety first\" and strictly complying with technical specifications, an innovative intelligent pressure relief system has been adopted to address the issue of limited installation space for pressure regulation and metering units, ensuring rapid pressure release in extreme situations. During the construction process, a quality control approach that covers the entire process, all stages, and every aspect is implemented; strict inspections are carried out on each meter of pipeline and each connection to ensure the highest standards of project quality.
