During the installation process, the equipment must undergo stress-free inspection of its pipe connections in accordance with the specifications. There are a few issues that need to be discussed: 1. Is the inspection for stress at the equipment connections considered part of the equipment specialist’s responsibilities or of the pipeline technician’s tasks? 2. Is the stress-free inspection of the equipment carried out before aligning the couplings of the moving equipment?
