In February 2026, the low-temperature pilot safety valve provided by the Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute of the Sixth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation for the new carbon dioxide energy storage demonstration project of Hairang New Energy Technology (Wuhu) Co., Ltd. was put into operation and has been functioning stably online, marking the first successful application of safety valves developed by the Beijing Aerospace Power Research Institute in the field of carbon dioxide energy storage for power generation.
