For a transmitter operating in the 0-150℃ range, 20mA corresponds to 150℃; for a transmitter in the 0-200℃ range, 20mA corresponds to 200℃. Is it necessary to adjust the 20mA setting of the 0-200℃ transmitter to 150℃ if it is replaced?

It entirely depends on whether the range of the signal reception end of the temperature transmitter matches the range of your temperature transmitter. If the reception end cannot have its range changed, then you will have to make the change yourself; if it’s possible to adjust the range accordingly, then it doesn’t matter from your side.
The transmitter can remain unchanged, but the scale of the DCS needs to be changed. Or modify the transmitter range. The correspondence between the temperature sensing element and the temperature value remains constant. Taking a thermoresistor as an example: for transmitters operating in the range of 0–150°C, the corresponding input value is 100–157.33Ω; for transmitters operating in the range of 0–200°C, the corresponding input value is 100–175.86Ω. If a value of 157.33Ω is applied to a transmitter designed for the 0–200°C range, the output of the transmitter will correspond to a temperature of 150°C. For DCS, the original 4–20mA range corresponded to 0–150°C; when it changes to 0–200°C, the scale also needs to be modified. .
