Cabinet room layout issues

Recently, for a project, the client requested that the 35KV substation and the DCS cabinets be located in the same building. The left area of the building serves as a substation, housing transformers and high/low voltage distribution cabinets. Auxiliary rooms such as air conditioning units and offices are located in the middle part of the building, while the DCS cabinet room is situated in the right area of the building. The distance between the DCS cabinet room and the power distribution room is approximately 30 meters. Is there anyone with more experience who can take a look and see if this meets the regulatory requirements? Can high-voltage substations cause electromagnetic interference in the cabinet room? Will the fault voltage resulting from the grounding failure in the high-voltage system be transmitted to the control system’s grounding system via the equipotential bonding of the building, and could this have an impact on the control system? It is not recommended to locate it together with the substation; if, due to objective constraints, the two structures must be placed side by side, an electromagnetic isolation layer must be installed between them!
The regulations clearly state that one must stay away from substations, as they cause interference.
DCS systems are sensitive to interference and should be installed separately. Under normal circumstances, proper shielding prevents any problems; however, if grounding and shielding are not done properly, unexpected malfunctions that lead to tripping can occur, and it will be difficult to explain such situations.
