Hello, classmates. I have a question: our 8 ZF membrane filters are all installed in a closed factory building. Although there is no dust pollution issue, the evaporated hot salt vapor causes severe rusting of the insulation and other components in the pipes near the interior. So now I want to add a layer of pure water as a seal on the surface of the saltwater. I have two questions: 1. When adding a water seal, must the saltwater level submerge the outlet pipe? 2. If the level is supposed to submerge the outlet pipe, how is that level controlled? I tried it, and manual adjustment is really difficult to achieve.

The hot steam from the warm saltwater causes water mist to form on the glass, which hinders observation. The membrane tube has been in use for six years, and I’m worried about potential problems.

When using a water seal, it must submerge the outlet of the pipe; otherwise, the sealing water will drain away. To ensure that the pipe outlet is submerged, the filtration flow rate needs to be increased, or else a large amount of pure water will have to be added, which in turn will lead to a decrease in the temperature and concentration of the saltwater.
