Yesterday, the price of soda ash for synthetic soda reached 1,300 yuan (delivered to the eastern coast), while the price of ammonium chloride rose to 1,000 yuan. Life is getting harder for the ammonia-soda process. The glass industry continues to languish; it’s unclear when it will finally improve.
