Cathode system weld leakage

The system has been in operation for ten years, and recently leaks were detected at the welds of the 310S pipes to varying degrees. Please discuss how to address this issue
When the design lifespan is reached, it can be replaced; major maintenance and inspections are required. How can it pass the environmental compliance checks if this isn’t done?
Currently, it is planned to seal the welds with 1211 putty; the cost of replacing them all would be too high
Using clay for sealing is only a temporary solution that is costly and time-consuming; frequent starting and stopping reduces the efficiency of the ion exchange membrane, and the costs associated with this are greater than the benefits. It is recommended to replace it entirely with N6 to solve the problem once and for all, as fewer stops will result in cost savings.
Agree with the opinion above; it’s better to switch to nickel tubes.
