Chelating resins do not contain ammonium ions themselves, and therefore do not release them either. Secondary brine-chelating resins are chelating resins that can be reused after regeneration, whereas oxidation may destroy the coordination bond structure within these resins, affecting their regeneration capacity and adsorption properties. If the chelating resin is oxidized, the ammonium ions within it are also destroyed or become inactive; generally, there is no issue with release. .
