In our factory, the concentration of sodium hypochlorite is determined through manual analysis, which involves a lot of work. Are there any reliable online sensors for measuring sodium hypochlorite concentration? Hope to share, thanks!
Using online pH and ORP together, with occasional manual adjustment, yields very good results.

What was mentioned upstairs is not a direct method for measuring the concentration of sodium hypochlorite; it is an indicator for process reference. To accurately determine the concentration of sodium hypochlorite, it is only possible to measure its concentration directly, with redox titration being the primary method used for this purpose. There are now also online analyzers for monitoring high concentrations of sodium hypochlorite; they can measure concentrations up to 20 g/L of available chlorine. However, they are expensive and require regular maintenance.
Could you provide the manufacturer’s contact information?
Our factory is equipped with online monitoring for hyposodium concentration, as well as online ORP monitoring; by analyzing samples, a linear relationship for ORP can be established. Just perform regular verifications. In daily production, it can be monitored online via ORP.
DKK Company in Japan has it; or just provide me with the on-site conditions and I’ll see if I can do it.
Our company specializes in online ultrasonic concentration analysis in Germany; if there is a need, we can arrange on-site technical discussions. Liu: 15011348038
