The documents require that safety instrument systems be installed in production and storage facilities involving two key aspects and one major aspect, but no specific methods for implementing this have been provided. When conducting a LOPA analysis, it turns out that the design pressure of the equipment is much higher than the operating pressure, so there is no risk of leakage due to overheating or overpressure. Are there anyone with experience in this area who can advise on how to set up an SIS system in such situations?
Hire a safety assessment firm to carry out a HAZOP analysis, as well as the SIL grading and verification for the SIS system

In essence, a SIS system is unnecessary; existing equipment already meets safety requirements, and adding a SIS system only creates another point of failure. Additionally, the SISI system cannot be designed or developed on one’s own; professional qualifications are required. Our company works with LSYS for this purpose. Hire a professional company to do it; they will also handle the inspection, it’s just an extra cost.
