Dear teachers, once hydrochloric acid turns yellow, what reagent can be added to turn this yellow color into colorless?
Yellow is trivalent iron ions, ion exchange resin
It’s not easy to remove, and it’s not that expensive to begin with; adding more cost for removal wouldn’t allow it to be sold at a higher price
It’s not worth spending money on dealing with it; you can get large quantities of colorless hydrochloric acid for free at our company.
