I have had a problem plaguing me for many years: the liquid chlorine section is equipped with two liquefiers. The original chlorine pipeline has one main pipe from which two outlets lead to the liquefiers, arranged in an approximately F-shaped configuration; the main pipe splits vertically into two branches. The question is: if the two sets of liquefiers operate simultaneously with both valves open, will these two sets of liquefiers affect each other? Is it possible for chlorine from one branch to be stolen by another branch? What’s happening here is that the freezer downstairs isn’t able to operate at full capacity; it seems that the other freezer has too low an suction pressure. It appears that chlorine gas only flows through one pipeline, while the other pipeline seems to have very little flow of gas. I’m not sure if my observation is correct. (All original chlorine valves are set to full open)
Isn’t the amount of chlorine fed into each liquefier controlled separately without using valves?
With low suction pressure, check whether the ammonia level in the liquefier upstairs is sufficient; Is the exhaust pipeline of the liquefier upstairs unobstructed (there is a lot of impure gas inside the liquefier)? ; Are all the valves in the gas-phase pipeline of the liquefier separator functioning properly? (There should be pressure gauges available for checking this.) ; Is the separator filled to the point where the liquefier is also full? ; Is the inlet valve of the compressor unit fully open? ; Wait
It is recommended to check whether there are any issues with the pipe diameter; we have encountered situations where the pipes were not cut to the designed diameter, resulting in insufficient air intake:D
Check that liquefier in that unit with low load to see if its tubes are blocked; it’s possible that acidic sludge has blocked the liquefier!
