The simulation of water content on the hydrogen production side in ion-exchange membrane electrolysis differs significantly from the actual process parameters

Hello, seniors! When performing calculations for the ion membrane electrolysis process, it was found that the material parameters for the hydrogen main pipe at the outlet of the alkali tank D270 in the process package are as follows: pressure: 0.44 kg (G); temperature: 85°C. The composition is 664.5 kg/h of hydrogen and 1520.7 kg/h of water. During Hysys simulation, it was assumed that the hydrogen at the electrolyzer outlet was saturated with water; however, the amount of water calculated was 3985 kg/h. Using Dalton’s law of partial pressures to calculate the saturated vapor pressure yields roughly the same result. All show significant deviations from the process package. I don’t know why the water content differs so much Could everyone please take a look? Thank you!

As a supplementary note, the water content in chlorine is similar to that in the process package; it’s just much higher for hydrogen – I’m not sure why
