Consult on chlorine purification

I consulted about the chlorine by-product produced by soda ash plants; its purity is around 95%. When using this gas in experiments, a lot of iron-red substance was observed on the furnace tubes, which suggests that the gas is impure and the pipes are made of metal. I’m not sure if using chlorine later on can further purify it; otherwise, it’s too dirty
By re-vaporizing it with liquid chlorine, the purity of chlorine gas is almost achieved
