Selection of liquid caustic filter

Since the liquid caustic storage tank is made of carbon steel, in order to prevent impurities from entering the tank, I would like to install a filter; I’m not sure what size filter element to choose

In terms of material, the filter housing can be made of 304 steel, while the filter element can be a sintered mesh foldable filter element made of 316 steel. The filtering precision depends on the type and size of impurities present in the lye; a precision of around 5μm is generally sufficient. The reason for choosing a metal filter element is that it can be reused – if it gets dirty, it can be cleaned with acid without suffering from easy corrosion
Carbon steel can withstand liquid alkali; it depends on the size of the impurity particles. Install a pipeline filter, and choose a basket filter with a mesh size of around 100–1000 for filtering based on the flow rate
