What is the approximate investment required? How many mu does it cover approximately? What is the annual sales revenue? How many people can be employed through this? How are the profits? How long is the payback period? Thank you
The investment is estimated at 1.8 to 2 billion. It covers an area of approximately 5,000 mu, including the slag yard. Annual sales revenue is 1.7–1.9 billion. 1,200 people are employed. The investment can be recovered within fifteen to twenty years.
In recent years, four projects involving the ammonia-soda process with a capacity exceeding one million tons each have been or are planned to be launched in Qinghai. The investment amounts by Qinghai Alkali Industry, Kunlun, Wucai, and Yanhu are all on the rise, as raw materials, equipment, and labor costs continue to increase. The investment amounts are all over 2 billion. Securing land shouldn’t be a problem in the western region. As for annual sales, that depends on the absorption capacity of the downstream market or the transportation capacity of local railways. Direct employment will require over a thousand workers. Regarding profits, currently, the cost of producing alkali in Qinghai is 600–800 yuan; adding the transportation costs to the eastern regions brings it to 300–400 yuan. Currently (this month), the selling price is 2,000 yuan. The return on investment also depends on one’s own capital; given the current difficulties in obtaining loans and the rising interest rates, this will inevitably affect the return on investment
The use of ammonia alkali in the West is stipulated by industrial policies
The cost in Qinghai is only 600-800 yuan? We’ve managed to bring the cost down to 1600-1800 here! !
Upstairs, where are you from? Currently, the ex-factory price of soda ash seems to be around 1,800. How come your costs are still so high?
So, we’re already incurring losses now! ! !
Is that 1600–1800 figure your total cost? The manufacturing cost shouldn’t be that high!
In the chemical industry, investments are mainly made in equipment and the environment; once things get underway, it can still be quite profitable.
The price of salt in Qinghai is around 80 yuan per ton. Additionally, the costs of coal, limestone, and other materials are low. By considering these factors, one can estimate the approximate total cost
A few days ago, I heard from an alkali plant in the eastern region that coal now costs 800–1,000 yuan
