The main methods for producing soda ash at present are the ammonia-soda process and the combined soda process; what are the enterprise standards for these two processes in relation to industrial sodium chloride? For example, the organic matter content, ammonia nitrogen content, and so on. Those who are familiar with the soda ash industry and can provide assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Quality requirements for crude salt: On a dry basis, NaCl, Ca2+, Mg2+, SO42-, and water-insoluble substances – m% ≥98, ≤0.1, ≤0.1, ≤0.5, ≤0.5. Particle size requirements for crude salt: Mesh size – 10–20 mesh, 20–40 mesh, 40–80 mesh; m% ≤3, ≤27, ≥65
In the soda ash production process, sodium chloride is converted into an aqueous solution that then absorbs ammonia gas. The requirements for salt are not very high; ordinary industrial salt can meet these requirements, and there are no special demands regarding organic matter or ammonia nitrogen.
