In a previously designed PVC project, the owner later used the calcium carbide sludge generated from that project in the production of soda ash. This is indeed a good thing for saving energy and reducing emissions, as well as turning waste into treasure. However, it is still unclear at present how PVC and soda ash should be combined; please discuss this.
Mixing calcium carbide slag with water to produce lime milk, which is then used for the recovery of ammonia in the ammonia-alkali process, is indeed a good environmental protection initiative; it requires minimal investment yet yields excellent results. Many soda ash plants in the country are using it.
Thank you, Floor 2, but what is the ratio of the two products? For example, how many tens of thousands of tons of soda ash can be produced to go with the calcium carbide sludge generated from 100,000 tons of PVC?
